KSP Data centre Maintenance 21/02/10

You may have been aware KSP data centre suffered 2 power outages between Nov-Dec of last year, due to catastrophic failures of the redundant Universal Power Supply (UPS) system. The damaged parts were quickly replaced and have been fully operational since.

The next stage of improvements for the data centre is to replace and install a new UPS system. In order to do this, all power must be switched off, and thus your server will be shutdown.

Duration: ~4hrs
Impact: Complete loss of service on server

Our DNS servers will still remain operational.

Daily backups are usually performed in the early hours of the morning (during the maintenance window). We will ensure the backups are completed and copied off-site before the beginning of this window.

If you have any questions regarding this maintenance window, please get in touch. Should you need to contact us during the maintenance period you will still be able to access the Market Hosting website as our server is hosted in a different location.

00:01 Update

Web02 has been safely shutdown. Data centre power down starts at 00:15

05:09 Update

Data centre power maintenance has been succesfully completed (though a little later than expected). Server is back online and fully operational.
